The other day I was asked to share a bit about me. Naturally, I explained how I am doing a PhD related to improving working conditions in social services and how I share my experiences of this through my blog. ⁠⁠

My heart has been heavy for a week or so now, with the extended lockdown in Ontario, Canada and now with the heart wrenching death of Daunte Wright.⁠.. “hope” has been fleeting.

My coffee machine tends to work overtime when grades are due. As well as my scale - I tend to snack a lot when I grade 🍎🧀🥖🍫🍪. Not sure if it is a procrastination or reward technique. Probably both🤣⁠
